Why it is two hours, not 20 minutes
Royal Elite is a points club (Sandos Mexico + Spain, RCI for the rest). The meeting covers the property, member-only dining and beach club, how weeks and points work, and a price. That does not fit in a lobby pitch.
Typical split:
- 10–15 min: who you are and how you travel
- 15–25 min: the resort and member areas
- 20–30 min: tiers and benefits
- 20–30 min: price and payment
- 15–25 min: questions and a yes or no
You can leave at the scheduled end. You do not have to buy to keep the room.
What you give vs what you keep
You give one morning. You keep the 3–5 night all-inclusive package you already signed: meals, drinks, room, beach, one-way airport pickup.
You do not get Royal Elite member areas on a promo rate. À la carte all day, Tortuga Beach Club, VIP pool, black bracelet: those are member benefits.
How to keep it to two hours
- Eat first. A hungry couple stays longer.
- Decide yes or no before you sit down. If you are only there for the stay, the answer is no.
- Write down any number they say. Do not sign in the room.
- Both adults should agree in advance.
If they ask you to stay “just 15 more minutes” after two hours, you can stand up. The reservation is already signed.
