A timeshare presentation is a scheduled sales meeting for a vacation club. At Sandos it is a 90–120 minute Royal Elite preview. Both qualifying adults attend together, usually over breakfast. At the end you get a one-time membership offer. You can say no. Most guests do.
The stay is already yours. Room, meals, drinks, pool, beach, and the one-way airport transfer stay in place whether you join Royal Elite or walk out.
That is the whole trade: a 3–5 night all-inclusive Sandos stay from $435, in exchange for one morning of your trip.

What you are actually sitting through
Not a tour of “some resort in Cancun.” A named Sandos property, real dates, and a named program: Royal Elite Vacation Club.
Typical flow:
- Welcome and a few questions about how you travel (10–15 min)
- The resort and the member areas (15–25 min)
- Membership tiers, dining, beach club, RCI (20–30 min)
- Price and monthly payment (20–30 min)
- Questions and a yes/no (15–25 min)
You are not locked in a room. The meeting has an end time. If you need to leave at two hours, you leave.
We are not the club. SandosPromo books the promotional stay. Royal Elite sells membership, if you want it. Different companies.
What it is not
It is not an open-dated certificate. You pick the resort and the dates first. We check the Sandos calendar before you sign or pay.
It is not a timeshare deed for one week in one room forever. Royal Elite is a points-based vacation club across Sandos resorts in Mexico and Spain, with RCI for other properties. Details belong on the Royal Elite page.
It is not a requirement to buy. Attendance is the requirement. Purchase is optional.
Why the rate is lower
Sandos would rather show the club to a qualified couple than sell the same room on Hotels.com at full retail. You get the standard retail all-inclusive (buffet meals, resort bars, one à la carte dinner each night, airport pickup). Members get the extras: à la carte all day, Tortuga Beach Club, VIP pool, black bracelet.
Promo guests do not get member areas. That is disclosed up front.
Do you qualify?
The resort sets this, not us. We check it before booking so check-in is clean.

- A major credit card
- U.S. or Canadian citizenship (at least one partner natural-born)
- First-time Sandos / Royal Elite presentation guests
- Both adults attend together
Kids: Caracol and Playacar include 2 adults + 2 kids 12 and under. Sandos Cancun is 18+.
