Los Cabos
The tip of the Baja California peninsula, where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez. Dramatic cliffs, gray and humpback whale migrations, and Sandos Finisterra perched right on Land's End.
Why Los Cabos
Los Cabos is two cities on the same point — Cabo San Lucas at the tip and San José del Cabo about twenty miles up the coast — connected by a tourist corridor of resorts, golf courses, and beaches. The whole region sits at the southern end of the Baja peninsula, where the Pacific Ocean folds around into the Sea of Cortez, the body of water Jacques Cousteau called “the world’s aquarium.”
This is a different Mexico from the Caribbean coast. The landscape is desert meeting ocean. The ocean is colder, the marine life is bigger (whale sharks, gray whales, humpbacks, marlin), and the geology is loud — the famous El Arco rock formation, the cliffs at Land’s End, and the granite spine of the Baja running north into the desert.
Sandos Finisterra is the only Sandos resort on the Pacific side of Mexico, and its location is its identity — beachfront and clifftop, with whale watching from the pool deck during migration season.

How to Visit — The Promotional Package
Sandos Finisterra is part of a vacation-club promotional program. In exchange for attending one 90–120 minute presentation about Royal Elite Vacation Club during your stay, you get the same all-inclusive package sold on Hotels.com and Expedia at up to 73% off the retail rate. Because Cabo’s retail rates run higher than Cancún’s, the absolute savings here are the largest of any Sandos property.
The mechanics are the same: you and your partner qualify (married or cohabitating, one partner 28–70, household income $60K+, valid major credit card), pick your dates, sign a complete reservation agreement via DocuSign, and travel. There’s no obligation to buy anything at the presentation. Many guests attend, politely decline, and enjoy the rest of their trip at the discounted rate.
We don’t sell open-dated certificates or “book within 45 days” vouchers. Every reservation has confirmed dates, a specific room type, a total cost, and a paper trail before any money changes hands.
