Seek & Go Tours — Los Cabos

Excursions, tours, and airport transfers for Sandos Finisterra guests. Whale watching, fishing, sunset sailing, ATV and RZR adventures, snorkeling, and private transportation from Cabo San Lucas.

Los Cabos Tours & Excursions

For guests at Sandos Finisterra

Sandos Finisterra sits at Land’s End — where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez, right next to the famous Arch of Cabo San Lucas. The Seek & Go desk in your resort lobby can book any of these experiences, or reach them directly via WhatsApp at +52 984 152 4671.

A note on swimming: The Pacific side of Finisterra has beautiful views but strong currents and riptides — not safe for swimming. The resort’s swimmable beach is on the marina/inlet side, where the water is calm. Tours take you to safe swimming spots.

Whale Watching

Season: December through April

Los Cabos is one of the best whale watching destinations in the world. Humpback whales and gray whales migrate here to breed and calve in the warm waters of the Sea of Cortez and Pacific Ocean.

What to expect: 2–2.5 hour boat tours departing from the Cabo San Lucas Marina. Boats head out past the Arch into open water. On good days, you’ll see whales breaching (launching out of the water), tail slapping, and spouting.

Some tours use hydrophones so you can hear whale songs underwater. Marine biologist guides explain whale behavior and migration patterns.

Whale sightings are nearly guaranteed during peak season (January–March) — most operators offer a free return trip if you don’t see whales.

Fishing

Cabo San Lucas is the “Marlin Capital of the World.” The waters where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez create extraordinary fishing grounds.

What you can catch:

Seek & Go arranges fishing charters through Solmar Fleet and other licensed operators. Options range from shared pangas (small boats) to private sportfishing yachts. Half-day and full-day trips available.

Catch-and-release is encouraged for marlin. Local restaurants will prepare your catch for dinner (dorado, tuna, wahoo).

Sunset Sailing

The Pacific sunset from Cabo is legendary. Several sailing options:

Sunset Cruise — 2–3 hour catamaran or sailboat cruise with open bar. Sail past the Arch and along the coast as the sun drops into the Pacific. Some include appetizers or full dinner.

Sunset Fajita Dinner Cruise — Full dinner service with fajitas, Mexican cuisine, and drinks on a larger vessel. Live entertainment.

Luxury Yacht Charters — Private sunset cruises for smaller groups. Premium drinks, gourmet appetizers.

Snorkel + Sunset Combo — Afternoon snorkeling at Pelican Rock or Chileno Bay, then sunset sailing on the way back.

All depart from the Cabo San Lucas Marina, a short walk from Finisterra.

ATV & UTV Adventures

The Baja desert landscape around Los Cabos is perfect for off-road exploration. Migriño Beach — about 45 minutes west of Cabo — is the premier adventure corridor.

Razor (RZR) Adventure — Side-by-side off-road vehicles through desert terrain, arroyos, and Migriño Beach. You drive. Roll cage, seatbelts, helmets provided. High-speed desert and beach riding.

ATV Quad Adventure — Single or double ATVs through the same Migriño terrain. More accessible than the RZR, hands-on quad experience.

Both include round-trip transportation from your Cabo hotel. You will get dusty.

Zip Lines & Canopy Tours

Costa Azul Zip Line — Seven different zip lines through a canyon with ocean views. Some lines run over 1,000 feet long. Includes rappelling and suspension bridges.

Tours combine adrenaline with scenery — you’re flying through the air with the Sea of Cortez in the distance.

Half-day activity, includes transportation and equipment.

Land’s End & The Arch

You can see the Arch from Finisterra, but getting up close is worth it.

Glass-Bottom Boat Tour — Short trips from the marina to the Arch, Lover’s Beach, and the sea lion colony. See underwater through the glass bottom.

Water Taxi to Lover’s Beach — Drop-off service to Playa del Amor (Lover’s Beach), the only swimmable beach at Land’s End. On one side: calm Sea of Cortez water. On the other side: Pacific waves (look, don’t swim). Water taxis pick you up when you’re ready.

Kayak or Paddleboard — Paddle from Medano Beach to the Arch. Rentals available, or join a guided tour.

Snorkeling & Diving

The Sea of Cortez side of Cabo has calmer water and good snorkeling:

Pelican Rock — Near Land’s End, accessible by boat. Tropical fish, sea fans, and sometimes sea lions.

Chileno Bay — Protected marine sanctuary about 15 minutes from Cabo. Clear water, easy snorkeling from the beach.

Santa Maria Bay — Horseshoe-shaped bay with calm water and coral formations.

Cabo Pulmo — National marine park about 2 hours north. One of the most successful marine reserves in the world — massive schools of fish, sea lions, manta rays. Full-day trip but extraordinary snorkeling and diving.

Diving — The Sea of Cortez is Jacques Cousteau’s “world’s aquarium.” Dive sites include sand falls (underwater waterfalls of sand), sea lion colonies, and the occasional hammerhead shark.

Camel Rides

Yes, camels in Cabo. Desert tours on camelback through the Baja landscape, often combined with beach time, tequila tasting, Mexican lunch, or an ATV combo.

A unique way to experience the desert scenery.

Day Trips

Todos Santos — Art colony and “Pueblo Mágico” (Magic Town) about an hour north. Galleries, restaurants, the Hotel California (yes, that one — or so they claim). Good half-day or full-day trip.

San José del Cabo — The quieter, more traditional town on the other side of the Cabo corridor. Art walk on Thursday evenings, historic downtown, excellent restaurants.

La Paz — Capital of Baja California Sur, about 2 hours north. Swimming with whale sharks (October–April), sea lion snorkeling at Espíritu Santo Island, and a beautiful malecón (waterfront promenade).
